Will a plan cover my week?

10 / week

Estimate, not billing truth: the app counts a clip when a unique capture finalizes, and paid allowances follow your billing period.

Plan details

The details behind your plan.

01What counts as a clip

One clip is one successfully finalized unique capture: a recording of a trade that the app finished writing and added to your library. It is counted once, at that moment.

Re-exporting, editing, trimming, re-rendering, downloading or deleting a clip you already have never consumes another capture. Cloud exports have their own monthly render allowance. A capture that fails before it finalizes is not counted, and a retry of the same capture cannot be counted twice.

Clips recorded before you created an account are never counted, and uploading them to your cloud library does not count either.

02When the allowance resets

The trial's 10 clips are a total for its 7 days. Pro (40 clips) and Ultra (200 clips) reset with each billing period, which starts on the day you subscribe and renews monthly on that day, not on the first of the calendar month.

Unused clips do not roll over. Each successful renewal starts a fresh allowance and whatever was left expires.

The app warns you at 80% of a paid allowance and again when it is used up; on the trial it warns at 8 of 10. When an allowance is used up new captures pause until it resets or you upgrade, and everything you already recorded stays usable.

03Renewal and cancellation

Paid plans renew automatically each month on the day you subscribed. Stripe charges the card on file and emails the receipt; TradeClip emails plan and account notices.

Cancel any time from Billing in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for: you keep your plan's features and remaining clips until then, are not charged again, and can undo it before the period ends.

Upgrading from Pro to Ultra applies immediately with a prorated charge and raises your cap for the current period to 200 clips without resetting what you have used. Downgrading applies at the start of the next billing period.

Cloud clips are kept for 30 days after a plan ends, then deleted; we email you first. Files on this computer are never touched.

04What priority means

Priority support (Ultra) means your tickets and emails are handled ahead of the standard queue by the same team. It is not a different channel and not a guaranteed response time; it is ordering.

Priority rendering (Ultra) means cloud renders use a separate queue with reserved capacity. Exporting on your own computer is never queued and is available on every plan.

Pro includes 10 cloud renders per monthly billing period in the standard queue. When they are used, exports default to local rendering. The trial has local rendering and standard support; Ultra uses the priority queue, subject to available capacity. Cloud capacity limits can also temporarily route exports to your computer.

05How checkout works

Choosing Pro or Ultra takes you to create an account or sign in. Your dashboard then starts a Stripe Checkout session for the plan you picked; card details are entered on Stripe's page and never on ours, and this site never loads payment scripts.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax; applicable sales tax, VAT or GST is calculated at checkout from your billing address. If a renewal payment fails you get a 7-day grace period during which you can keep recording, with cloud renders paused until payment succeeds.

Pricing FAQ

Before you choose.

The short answers. The full FAQ covers capture, cloud sync, recovery and more.

Pro is $14.99 per month and Ultra is $35.99 per month, in US dollars, plus applicable tax. You choose a plan from the dashboard after signing in; checkout runs on Stripe, which holds your card details. We never see your full card number.

Your card is charged when you subscribe and then monthly on the same day. Stripe sends invoices and receipts; TradeClip sends plan and account notices.
